July 17, 2014 - Trans Tech SST Model Goes Through Altoona Testing

Federal Transit Bus TestWarwick, NY:  Trans Tech Bus is pleased to announce that the SST model has gone through the Altoona STURAA testing.  The results that the SST performed to were excellent.  According to the test results, “Durability driving resulted in no unscheduled maintenance or failures.” On top of that average Miles Per Gallon (MPG)  was tested at 9.60 with a high of 14.24 MPG.

“The test results exceeded our expectations.  What we have been saying about the Trans Tech product line being durable, reliable, as well as being the most fuel efficient line of type A school buses was validated during the Altoona testing” said Trans Tech National Sales Manager Brian Barrington.  The bus was equipped with  CE White Special Events seats mounted in the Trans Tech’s Versa Track mounting system.
