April 13, 2015 - Trans Tech’s eSeries Big Hit at California Green Summit
Sacramento, CA - Trans Tech’s eSeries all-electric school bus was an absolute crowd-pleaser at the 9th Annual Green California Summit held April 7th and 8th at the Sacramento Convention Center. As the center-piece of Trans Tech distributer First Priority’s display booth, the eSeries all-electric school bus showed that cost effective, environmentally friendly school bus solutions, not only exist, they’re being built by New York’s only school bus manufacturer – Trans Tech.
“The Green California Summit was a fantastic opportunity to display the eSeries all-electric school bus by Trans Tech to a very receptive audience,” said Trans Tech President John Phraner. “We know the yellow school bus is the safest way to get to school, and now it’s also the cleanest. It was a great event and being able to partner with First Priority to show the sustainable and safe eSeries by Trans Tech was just tremendous.”
With the all-electric eSeries, Trans Tech and Motiv Power Systems have come together to re-energize an American icon. In addition to Trans Tech’s big-bus strength and enhanced crash protection, the all-electric and aerodynamic eSeries produces zero vehicle emissions, has significantly reduced service and maintenance costs, a quieter ride for passengers and conveniently charges overnight during off-peak power demand.
The Green California Summit is an annual event that brings together stakeholders from the public and private sectors to share innovations in policy, practice and technology to help California reach its environmental and economic goals. The Expo offers attendees a chance for hands-on exposure to technologies and services that can play a critical role in the planning, design and execution of green projects.
